CRC WattsUp Solar Panel Cleaner is non-corrosive and contains no solvents which is an excellent choice for effectively cleaning solar panels in commercial, industrial, and solar farm settings.
For optimal results, follow the usage instructions.
Inspect entire system prior to cleaning to check for loose or broken wires and panels. Always clean panels early in the morning or at night when panels are cool.
- Step 1: Recommended dilution rate is 1 part CRC WattsUp Solar Panel Cleaner with 30 parts waters (1:30). For heavily soiled areas use a higher concentration.
- Step 2: Rinse panels with CRC WattsUp Solar Panel Cleaner, removing loose debris. Only wet number of panels that can be brushed and rinsed before solution dries.
- Step 3: Wash panels with non-abrasive cleaning equipment, i.e., sponge, lint-free cloth.
- Step 4: Repeat steps 1 and 2 as needed for heavy contamination.
- Step 5: Rinse panels with CRC WattsUp Solar Panel Cleaner or with water and let it dry.
Panels can be dried with a microfibre cloth for glass if desired.
