Lite-N-Up Wood Bleach is a professional two-component liquid wood bleaching system designed to remove the natural color from bare wood before subsequent finishing. The kit contains equal-volume Components A and B: Component A is an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution, while Component B is an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution with special buffers. The components are mixed immediately before application, and the bleaching strength can be adjusted by changing the mixing proportions and number of applications. Lite-N-Up is intended for bare wood and should not be applied over existing finishes. It can be applied with a synthetic paintbrush, or with a roller or sprayer made entirely of stainless steel or plastic. The manufacturer states that one brush application of the premixed solution covers approximately 500 square feet per gallon, depending on wood porosity and application technique. This 800-4 kit contains two 1-quart bottles, providing 16 fluid ounces of each component. The two components should be mixed only immediately before application.
