The Makita DHP484Z 18v Li-ion Cordless Brushless Combi Drill is powered by the Makita 18v Li-ion LXT range of batteries & was developed based on and with the purpose of succeeding the current Makita model the DHP480Z. Body Only 

The DHP484Z features a brushless motor, an all metal gear construction with aluminium gear housing to provide extra protection, LED job light, electric brake, 2 x mechanical gears, 21 x torque settings + hammer action & keyless chuck.

Further improvements also include an increased impact rate to make the DHP484Z an even stronger & more powerful hammer action combi drill but still a compact & lightweight machine.

The DHP484Z's brushless motor generates a higher amount of torque per weight which in turn means less friction and using less battery power giving a much longer lifespan to the product + longer battery runtime.
